SMALL ART. BIG CONNECTIONS.

How to collect Artist Trading Cards online

“Collecting ATCs online” can mean arranging a physical swap over the internet or building a collection of digital cards. Start by choosing which experience you want: a handmade piece in your binder, art on your screen, or a little of both.

Art Card Club · A guide for collectors and creators

For physical cards, find a swap community

Look for an active group with clear swap rules and examples of completed exchanges. Read the guidelines before posting, and introduce the kind of art you make or enjoy. A themed swap can be a helpful starting point because it gives everyone a shared brief.

Before committing, confirm what will be exchanged and when. A photograph in a post is not the same as a promise to send that card. Keep the arrangement clear, including the mailing destination and how you will confirm arrival.

For digital cards, understand what you are collecting

Digital cards live in a service or app rather than arriving in the mail. Look for a clear explanation of access, pricing, credit to creators, and what happens to your collection if the service changes. Do not assume a digital collectible includes a physical print, ownership of copyright, or permission to reproduce the art.

Pick work you enjoy looking at. A collection might follow a subject such as dragons or food, a visual style, or a mood. You do not need to chase every card to build something that feels personal.

What Art Card Club is building

Our current test build includes on-screen pack opening, card collections, favorite-card showcases, themes, and collectible stickers for profiles. The public sample gallery offers a look at existing test artwork without requiring an account.

The launch plan includes two free packs each day, with optional extra packs. Digital trading is in development; it is not a public feature you can use today. Profile borders and charms are also planned for later. Alpha features and availability may change.

A collection you can make your own

A profile can show ten favorite collected cards in your chosen order. Themes change the atmosphere of a profile, and stickers add another layer of personal expression. These are ways to display what you love, alongside the card collection itself.

Creators are part of the idea, too: sharing a digital version can let more people collect an artwork while the creator keeps the original. Only upload work you have the rights and permission to share.
